RECONNAISSANCE AND PROSPECTING LICENSES
Manganese mineralization at GMC’s reconnaissance (Wakawaka and Seripe) and prospecting (Yakau) licenses continues to be very promising. In view of this, GMC continues to invest in greenfield exploration to expand the Manganese mining opportunities in Ghana.
- The Yakau prospecting license covers 149km2 with manganese and gold mining potential. This greenfield project is strategically positioned and only 40km from Takoradi Port;
- The Wakawaka and Seripe reconnaissance licenses are providing manganese ore development opportunities in the North of Ghana.
