Ghana Manganese Company, in collaboration with TMI, has launched the Employee Exchange Program, which aims to foster professional growth, build stronger inter-company relationships, and promote the sharing of best practices.
The program is also geared towards enhancing cultural integration and understanding the work ethics of both the parent company (TMI) and GMC.
STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM
Duration
A month duration per each cohort of exchange employees, divided into departmental rotations to cover all key operational areas
Target Participant
- Selection is based on performance,leadership potential, and willingness to learn.
- Departments involved but not limited: HR, Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement/Inventory, Maintenance workshop, HSE, geology, Mining, and processing.
Selection Criteria
- Employees will be nominated by the head of Departments, and approved by management.
- Minimum of 2 years of service at GMC
- Demonstrated interest in the exchange program
- Managerial recommendations
- Strong performance reviews and leadership potential.
Special projects and assignments (1 week)
- Each participant will undertake a department-specific project that applies their learning.
- Develop an operational improvement project in one of the department
3. Present findings and recommendations to the TMI management team.
